The view of Lake Dillon from Sapphire Point is beautiful. You can enjoy a mild one half mile hike or a picnic. It is also used for many weddings. The Snake River Is Just Behind Ski Run Condos
Sit on your balcony and listen to the sounds of the Snake River just a few yards away. Fish for trout in the river's cold water. Walk past the wetlands and over the bridge to the Mountain House area in Keystone Resort. The Keystone Village and River Run areas are also a short walk from your door. You can fish in the Snake River for trout, just a hundred feet from your balcony, or fish in Lake Dillon, just five miles away. The Keystone Ranch Golf Course
Keystone has two 18 hole championship golf courses, "The Ranch" and "The River" course. The Ranch course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and is more difficult. Both have fabulous views. There are other great courses in the area besides those at the resort. The Raven at Three Peaks, The Breckenridge Golf Course and The Copper Mountain Golf Course are some of the most popular. From the fishing outside your door in the Snake River to white water rafting, there are not enough hours in the day to enjoy everything. Almost every weekend in the summer, the resort is host to a different festival. Six miles away is the Silverthorne Outlet Mall for those who want to shop. The town of Dillon, just a few miles away, has free concerts on Saturday evenings. Keystone also offers a comedy club, plays, and concerts in their Park Lane Pavilion. Special events also take place in Frisco and Breckenridge, both are close to your your Ski Run condo.
Keystone Is A Mountain Biker's Paradise
Take your bike up the gondola and ride down the miles of single track trails or mountain roads. If you prefer, you can ride from the summit of the Vail Pass back down to the resort on paved bike trails. Whatever your biking pleasure, Keystone Resort will make you smile. Keystone is a mountain biker's paradise! Our guests can get special bike rental discounts across the street at Mountain View Sports. They can also shuttle you to the top of the Vail Pass for a wonderful down hill ride back to your door. If you prefer using two feet to using two wheels, you can ride the chair lift to the top of Keystone Mountain and hike downhill back to your condo door.
The NRO plays at a free July 4th concert in Dillon
In the summer, the towns of Dillon and Frisco offer free concerts. From jazz and blues to rock and roll, these free concerts are enjoyed by all. Bring a lawn chair, blanket, dancing shoes, a picnic and relax. The Lake Dillon concerts are every Saturday during the summer at 7:00 PM. Also, in the same area, is a wonderful "Farmers Market" on Friday between 9 AM and 3 PM and a free lecture series on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM. The National Repertory Orchestra also offers a free July 4th concert each year. Summers are the best time to be in Colorado.
